A long and winding road! I originally trained in Psychosynthesis, an integrative, holistic and transpersonal approach to human development and have worked in the field for over 20 years in the UK and Europe. In 1987 I trained and subsequently worked with Joanna Macy and for a few years ran workshops with a small group of facilitators including Pat Fleming who is also a member. In the intervening years I have been quietly engaged in learning more about the field, facilitating courses in Sweden - though I haven't adopted the label 'ecopsychologist'. Since 1988 I've also been deeply influenced by Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh's teachings in engaged buddhism and received lay ordination 15 years ago -since the birth of my son I haven't been an active member of the community though I've been integrating mindfulness practice my work for many years where the development of awareness, insight and a socially/ecologically engaged approach to spiritual development is a dominant theme. What brought me here now? I'm working on moving my professional centre of gravity back to the UK and wanting to make more connections here.

It's good to see you here. As you can see, there's quite alot going on in the forum, many events being posted up, and there are regional groups forming within 'groups' - including a Devon and Cornwall group. If you want to meet people locally, you can always do a search in 'members' for 'Devon'.
We are holding a networking day on April 24th at the Psychosynthesis Trust near London Bridge - see events.
If you need help with anything, please let us know.
