I'm becoming more aware of the impact of the environmental crisis we are facing as a society - and the detrimental effect on human mental health and psychological wellbeing. Seeing the devastation locally caused by HS2 earth works has saddened and angered me a great deal. A lovely friend Eleanor made a blue plaque IN MEMORY of the Hunningham Oak an acorn circa 1750, felled on 24/09/20 by HS2 Ltd. A Constant and Noble Giver of Life (acorn silhouette). We showed our respect on 01/08/21 with music and poetry and then went home. I am walking regularly with a friend and have noticed the difference within myself when I'm out in the countryside.
