The Speech of Earth

We are all indigenous to Earth. At times we can feel separate from, at a distance from our pulsing creaturely bodies, our vaster body – Earth and the sacred. Sometimes this suffering is referred to as ‘separation sickness’. During this reflective and practical weekend we will slow down to body pace, explore ways of deeper listening to the layers and expressions of Body-Earth, and create simply ceremony.

We will reflect on how being in this way may itself be a portal to; something once known, a new insight, a moment of myth, a deeper release, healing our sense of separation. We will explore how what has been shown to us can be embodied in our lives and in our work and become a way of being in service to regenerative thriving life.

The practices and explorations over this weekend will happen both outside with Moor, Sky, Rock, Water, Branch and Mycelium and inside the training room. Participants need to be able to walk on uneven wet, earth and participate in practices in a range of weather conditions.

The location for this residential weekend gathering is the Karuna Institute, Devon.  Karuna is located in the heart of Dartmoor, seated upon Granite, tended by Hawthorn and the spirits of this extraordinary beautiful and wild place.

The weekend is facilitated by Ally Stott -  bookings for the weekend are made through the Karuna Institute -
