A year long certificate programme consisting of:
- five practice-based on-line Distance Learning Units
- an equivalence of 90 hours (15 days) training which can now be taken through attendance or online options
- An optional second year involving a mentored practicum and 40 further training hours
This year we have expanded the options on our programme to allow you to complete the full qualification online, though we will be reintroducing some attendance options as these become feasible. The course is open to practitioners at all levels. It centres on five core units, following the sequence of Ecotherapy in Practice (Caroline Brazier, Routledge 2017). In addition to these we offer a range of units.
The training is normally completed in a year. There is a strong emphasis on collaborative learning and shared enquiry on the course, and most work is done in groups, either in person or online, supporting students to gain skills in working with groups or one-to-one.
