A Radical Joy for Hard Times practice of connecting to the wounded land

Just as we can't be whole, healthy individuals until we explore the shadow places in our psyche, so we cannot have a whole, healthy, sustainable Earth until we recognize that all places are valuable and beautiful” Trebbe Johnson- Founder of Radical Joy

Presented by Facilitators-Harriet Sams and Sasha Daucus

Zoom calls on Thursdays

From April 29th 12pm EST, 5-7pm BST, 6-8PM CET

Every other week for ten weeks

Attending to Place is a practice we will embark upon together to explore ways of relating to wounded places.

It offers participants a focus for immersing ourselves over time in a place we care about that is hurting—and so is hurting us in turn. Through guidance from experienced practitioners, participants can find a place near us and deepen into awareness of the wounds and the gifts of the place.

This fully immersive practice will both expand and deepen the ways in which we relate to wounded places, to ourselves in relationship with them, and to our communities as we all search for ways of living with ecological damage in the years and generations to come.

Each person will commit to spending time at a particular wounded place near them, also meeting every other week for five session in a group-sharing Zoom call for two hours after each practice on the land.

This course is offered on a sliding scale of donation, with money being raised for the course leaders and for the charity Radical Joy for Hard Times. Suggested price for the course: £60-110.
